As Big Telecom pushes customers onto wireless and computer-based substitutes to replace traditional home phone service, the FCC is asking: How can we protect consumers?

In Springfield, CUB is preparing to battle AT&T and other big phone companies that want to scrap low-cost, reliable landline service.

But we also need to take this fight to Washington. That’s why we’re sending this petition to the FCC, which has just begun to ask how to protect consumers as new phone technologies explode on the market.

Please, tell the FCC today: Protect reliable, affordable, traditional phone service in Illinois.
